Wilsonville's 2013 Bicycle & Pedestrian Connectivity Action Plan
Connectivity on its way

The City is working to make sure it just gets easier to get around, especially as Wilsonville grows. The City's plan is to make the most of public and private investments to connect the community through a wide range of capital infrastructure investments, ranging from multiuse paths to on-street bike lanes and wayfinding signage. All site-specific projects are shown on the project map.

1 Canyon Creek Road enhanced pedestrian crossings
New protected pedestrian crossings with flashing beacons, refuge islands, and signage. Funding source: Development charges. Learn more here.
  12 Barber Street Extension from Kinsman to Coffee Lake Drive
New connection of Barber Street, including bike lanes and sidewalks, between Villebois and the WES Commuter Rail/ SMART Central station. Funding source: Urban renewal. More details here.
2 Canyon Creek Trail sinkhole repair
Repair of existing trail due to sinkhole. Funding source: Parks
  13 Bike/Pedestrian Bridge over I-5
A new bicycle/pedestrian bridge over I-5 would connect Town Center with businesses and neighborhoods on west side of I-5. Funding source: None identified. Learn more here.
3 Tooze Road urban upgrade design (110th to Grahams Ferry Road)
Widen existing road to 3 lanes, plus bike lanes and sidewalks. Funding source: Urban renewal. More here.
  14 New trail along Boeckman Creek

4 Costa Circle - Villebois extension

  15 Boeckman Creek crossing trail repair
Repair failing retaining wall and the existing trail that crosses the creek. Funding source: Parks
5 Villebois Drive extension

  16 Tonquin Trail segment - Willamette Way East, north of Chantilly

6 Tonquin Trail segment along Coffee Lake wetlands

  17 Tonquin Trail segment - Willamette Way East, south of Chantilly

  Tonquin Trail segment west of Morey’s Landing path
Add small section of the Tonquin Trail from the Morey's Landing path, north to Wilsonville Road. This part of the path is private, but with public easement. Learn more here.
8 Restripe Boeckman Road from Parkway to Canyon Creek Road
Restripe Boeckman Road to add bike lanes. Funding source: Streets.
  19 French Prairie Bridge bike/pedestrian and emergency bridge project development

9 Canyon Creek Road extension

  20 Add green bike lanes on Wilsonville Road at two I-5 on-ramps

10 Grahams Ferry Road Phase 1
Reconstruct Grahams Ferry Road and add a wide multi-use pathway adjacent to the former Living Enrichment Center property. Funding source: Private development/ SDCs.
  21 Waterfront trail improvements
Improve the existing trail as it passes underneath the I-5 Boone Bridge. Remove barriers, install bollards, widen and level out the trail, add features such as benches and lighting. Funding source: None identified. Learn more here.
