Active transportation and recreation are critical facets of life in Wilsonville. Planned in unison, these elements offer complete community connectivity and interrelated opportunities for work, play, shopping, and exercise for residents, employees, and visitors. To ensure the City’s departments are collaborating toward this end, in 2013 the Wilsonville City Council set a goal to develop a plan to improve bike and pedestrian connectivity throughout the community, and integrate the plan into the City’s Capital Improvement Plan.

The purpose of this Action Plan website is to articulate this vision of connectivity, and explain everything the City is doing to make biking and walking safe, comfortable, and efficient choices for transportation and fitness. The Community Development Department intends to update this Action Plan annually.
